WHO WE ARE
A story built on the rising.
Phoenix Reintegration Project was founded to answer a simple, hard question: what would it take for returning citizens to actually make it?

FOUNDER
Dr. Tasha Y. Berry
Dr. Berry brings more than two decades of experience across federal contracting, workforce development, compliance leadership, and reentry advocacy. She founded Phoenix Reintegration Project after witnessing — again and again — the same pattern: talented people released with no map, no scaffolding, and no chance to build something new.
Under her leadership, Phoenix evolved from a workforce-support pilot into a full six-pillar reentry model recognized by referral partners, community agencies, and grant-making institutions for its accountability and outcomes.
MISSION
To restore, equip, and stand alongside returning citizens as they rebuild lives of dignity, stability, and purpose.
VISION
A country where returning home means beginning again — with housing, work, and belonging waiting
OUR VALUES
Five commitments that shape every interaction.
01
Dignity
Every person we serve is met with respect, not judgment. Their story is more than their record.
04
Community
Reentry is a shared endeavor. We invest in the ecosystems that make return possible.
02
Accountability
Structured plans, honest milestones, and measurable outcomes for participants, partners, and funders.
03
Restoration
We build toward wholeness — of the individual, the family, and the community welcoming them home.
05
Excellence
Compliance, transparency, and rigorous care in every program we deliver.
